Is electric griddle suitable for making dosa and rotis ? Pls suggest

    Hi,
    If you have nonstick griddle, it will be best to use wooden or silicone spatula. If you have cast iron, you can use stainless steel one. Also to spread the batter you can use stainless steel ladle for both.

    Thank u so much and i also wanna know what would be the avg temperature to be maintained for preparing dosas and rotis.

    I have glass cooktop, so I maintain the temperature to 3 to 4 out of 9 heat settings otherwise the gridddle pan may warp with the high heat settings and will result in uneven cooking. For rotis also I maintain 4 heat setting out of 9 and once both sides have some bubbles I cook on wire rack to pluff it up and raise the temperature to 7 or 8. By following this method, I am not aftraid of warping the pan and uncooked rotis. I think this video will better illustrate my method.. :)
