    Hey Friends,

I wanted to see reviews for roti maker and where else can i go than indusladies for best reviews.

I make good rotis by hand, but am pressed for time and mainly i want to make stuffed ones for lunch boxes for kids and me and hubby as well. But mornings preparing stuffed parathas is time consuming.Phulkas i can make very fast. But the reviews saythat rotis dont come out good like handmade in roti maker.I cannot compromise on quality of rotis for sure.I had a cook and i never let her make rotis but evrything else.I am obsessed with my hand made rotis. So hard, rubbery rotis are no for me.

Can anyone suggest if i can go for manual puri/chapati press. Can i press stuffed parathas and rotis in it and fry it on tawa?

    Priti

Looks like i have got a Soul Sister hugsmiley

With the specs u have mentioned, Manual press is hardly of any use as the Stuffing may come out totally or partially. I would suggest Hand Made Parathas only.

    Hi

I am also same like you..I will make phulaks nicely. .but time consuming. ..my husband likes it..so I bought butterfly roti maker..but I am not satisfied with that..It tastes raw flour..its will be fluffy..but acc to taste..We don't like tht..i won't make parathas much..if ur buying for only roti or phulkas you will need time to adjust taste..or we have to sacrifice our taste buds
    It's my experience. .

Chapathi won't be soft, even if u keep it in any box also..I tried that..I think it's not abt brand. .may be using it properly also depends. .

Yes yes yes roti maker is not at all good .
    It's a flop,where u get dry chappathies only.
    better not to waste money.
for dough use dough attachment of food processor or grinder.
Atleast in that way u can save some time.
atleast chappathies will be soft softer softest.
