OK. i will send some pickles also neatly packed.But one of my relatives on her way to US, carried a small bottle of pickle . though it is well packed, customs officials objected for carrying pickles and put it in the trash.
Now with all the above informations and advices given by friends in this post, i gained some confidence, motivation and ofcourse some knowledge too. Hii, take pickle in the luggage, not in hand luggage. I bring like that(mango pickle which have gravy , dry pickles too I bring. Once my MIL was coming alone, and she kept some jackfruit in her hand luggage. the Kochi airport people said you cant take it with you. So she had to throw it only that one incident we faced. and medicines if you are bringing, make sure that also goes with luggage, not to keep in hand luggage, and keep prescriptions from doctor. regards resmij
there are some medicines which are banned here recently please check that before bringing dont be worried about bringing Indian stuffs - you get almost everything here
You dont need to bring rice cooker or any of the masala to Dubai. All the items available in Indian market can be purchased locally and with better quality. We have Lulu and Al adil supermarket where you can buy all Indian branded items.Soaps, oil, costumes,umbrella, noodles,biscutes etc etc. So travel light and enjoy the flight ....
