Diet and need of DHA for the eight month of pregnancy

    Hello Ladies,

    Kindly share the diet for the 8 th month of pregnancy. Also got to know that DHA is good for brain and vision development of baby inside womb ..So what kind of food is good to nourish DHA supplement .Is COD Liver Oil (seven seas) tablet type is good ?

    hi you should have started by third month onwards. still better late than never.
    hese foods also contain a concentrated amount of DHA:
    • Anchovies
    • Herring
    • Sardines
    • Trout
    • Other oily fishes
    Smaller, but still significant, amounts of DHA are in these foods:

    • Canned tuna (which you can safely eat six ounces of each week)
    • Crab
    • Shrimp

    Vegetarian foods that have DHA

    Nuts and Seeds: Pumpkin seeds, Flax seeds, Walnut
    Algae and sea weed
    Canola and soybean oils
    Spinach, kale, brocolli and cauliflower
    Kidney beans, soybeans


    Easiest: Milk, Egg, Yoghurt fortified with DHA/Omega 3
    Soya milk
