Working Moms Daily workout Group...

    Food:
    Breakfast - 1 honey wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita (1/4 tsp brown sugar) & 1 big glass of smoothie
    (1 banana, 1 apple, few blueberries, few blackberries, added few pomegranate seeds. No sugar. No milk)
    Lunch - roti, brown rice, curry, cabbage, 1 boiled egg & yogurt
    Dinner - chapathi with cauliflower subji & 1 cup bournvita (1/4 tsp brown sugar)

    Workout:
    Climbing stairs at home
    Floor ex - Arm circles, Lateral lifts, military press, bicep curls, triceps overhead extension with 3 lb weights
    Treadmill - 60 mins (in inclined mode)
    Burnt 345 calories. 3 miles completed.

    Overall, a great day :thumbsup

    update for 5th aug

    breakfast: 2 slices white bread with butter and tea
    lunch and dinner: fried rice (par boiled rice)
    snack: 2 small pieces of fruit cake and oats biscuits

    workout:
    1 hr walk in park and spot jog (completed 10k steps, 4 miles and burnt 320 calories)
    2 miles on elliptical (burnt 160 calories) total 480

    Didn't hit the gym from Thursday till Sunday. I've been having oatmeal/fruits smoothie for breakfast and I'm loving it. I just change the fruits combinations everyday. After few days, i'm planning to try green smoothie for breakfast.

    In-laws bought so many snacks from India. Couldn't resist those yummy thattai, murukku, halwa etc. So, I didn't really lost any weight in the last week and happy that i didn't gain any after such a treat.

    Back to routine yesterday..will try to stick to it till I leave for Chennai! Tried a Citrus fresh squeeze from Vitamin Chick today..was delicious( Grapefruit, Orange, Cucumber and Mint)..

    Even, i'm having fruit smoothies these days. I try to add 1.5 apple, 1 big banana, 2 types of berries (strawberries / black / blueberries), few pomegranate seeds. I'm also planning to try green smoothie sometime. Smoothies keep my constipation issues away.

    Between, your mom left? In Sep, even my in laws are coming and sweets / karam from India yumsmiley .. So, trying to lose some wt before that :)

    Try adding Oatmeal in the smoothie. It gives creamy texture. I really love my Vitamix :)
