Working Moms Daily workout Group...

    Hi all!

    July 21:

    Morning chai as usual
    Bfast - Branflakes with milk
    Lunch: 1/2 cup egg noodles with tofu and veggies, some apple slices
    Evening: Chai with pop chips
    Dinner: Lime juice with 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 a Mini Milky way(grrrrrrrr)

    Did my regular treadmill workout plus tried some situps, crunches and leg raises..boy that was hard..still unable to do a proper situp..will try today again!

    update for 22nd july

    bfast: uppuma and tea
    lunch: half plate rice with sambar and cucumber raita
    dinner: noodles
    snack: few snacks and chips

    workouts:
    45 mins fast walk at park (not able to run due to period)

    As of now, I'm sticking to,
    1 apple (fibre)
    1 banana (for sweetness)
    5-6 strawberries (sourness)
    blueberries (sourness and good anti oxidants)
    spinach (not right now)
    and water

    no milk or sugar..

    Nive,

    Have some solid food for dinner like roti or wheat items or soup or salad as just lime juice is not enough for body.. Avoid sugar n chocolates night time.. Try to include more fruits.

    Breakfast - 1 wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita, 1 glass smoothie (1 apple, 1 banana, few blueberries, few strawberries)
    Lunch - Roti, brown rice, curry, beetroot, 1 egg, 2 cucumber & yogurt
    Snack - murukku n sweets (from India)
    Dinner - Roti

    Workout:
    Climbing stairs at home
    Treadmill - 30 mins
    Floor ex - 30 mins

    mom was down with illness.. so full busy with baby, cooking and office.. could n't find any time for walking..

    have to start walking again from today..

    update for 23rd july

    breakfast: three ragi thosai (with butter and sugar) and tea
    lunch: vege salads (cucumber, celery and carrot) with 2 spoon of home made yougart
    dinner: one thosai and a small chinese red bean bun (pau)

    workouts:
    felt so lazy to walk with heavy flow so did 25 mins work outs at home
    (abs crunch, push ups x 20, squats x 30, lunges X 16, leg rise, hip rise, twisting disc 5 mins, imitated LS walks for 5 mins)

    Anitha, you are right..I should avoid sugar in the night..will try to discipline myself..

    July 22nd:

    Morning Chai
    Branflakes with Milk
    Lean Cuisine - Santa fe Rice with beans
    Evening chai with Pop chips, 1 tablespoon Almonds and a little mullu murukku
    1 small uthappam with very little oil and 1 tablespoon coconut chutney

    8 leg raises, 15 situps(better than the 1st day, still can't do it right), plank for 12 secs and 1 set suryanamaskar. Usual 350 calories on the treadmill.

    Food:
    Breakfast - 1 wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita (1/2 teaspoon brown sugar replacement for white sugar), 1 glass smoothie (1 apple, 1 banana, few blueberries, few strawberries)
    Lunch - 2 or 3 small chapati's (prepared with 1 drop of oil), brown rice (replacement for white rice) , some curry, cabbage (1 vegetable daily), 1 egg (daily) & yogurt
    Snack - nil
    Dinner - 4 small chapatis with mutter paneer (prepared this after a long time)
    1 small glass milk with viva (no sugar)

    Total sugar in take - just 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar today plus the sugar content from viva

    No junk.. Yah, I made it from today onwards :-D. I'm back on my food diet but workouts are not going well this week due to periods. I'll be back on track from tomorrow or next week onwards.

    My goal is to reach 151.2 lbs but i'm still in 152.8 - 153.8 lbs range. I don't know if I can reach my goal as I didn't expect this periods n junk from India :bang . I will still try my best... (cheers)

    8.00 AM - Kellogs + Milk
    11.00 AM - 3 small breads
    2.30 PM - Rice + with lots of veggies
    5.00 PM - Coffee
    7.30 PM - Wheat upma + curd rice
    9.30 PM - 1 cup of milk

    Workouts

    6.00 PM - Walked 2 miles
