@catherine26 - I am now 24 weeks pregnant. At 18 weeks anomaly scan, my baby also had mild dilation in both kidneys. I think it was 4.3mm and 5mm. A repeat scan was scheduled after 3 weeks and kidneys went back to normal size at 21 weeks. There was no dilation. Doctors too said that 96% of such cases get resolved on their own before birth. And the remaining 4% of cases gets resolved before the child turns 1 year. They may give some antibiotics after the baby is born if the condition still exists. But remember this is only in 4% of the cases. So, dont worry. Keep thinking positive. I am sure your baby will be fine.

I am sorry, I dont know anything about your other query on making uterus strong. Do follow your doctors advice and take rest.

@Radhai - I have heard mixed reviews about eating pomogranate. Some say it is not good to eat during pregnancy and was once used as natural oral contraceptive in olden days. I am really not sure though.

    Hi Catherine,

I had this problem in my second pregnancy with my child during last trimester...It didn't go away and I was followed through ultrasound....but after delivery the doctors sent me to a specialist and I found out that everything is ok through ultrasound....Yes it did go away after delivery...
So don't worry everything will be fine....Take rest

I am not sure about the second issue though...
