Well, essentially there are 3 things that perhaps women should know about men. Ofcourse, there are exceptions to what I say, but these experiences are quiet typical and I feel they need to be addressed.


1. Men pull away to feel autonomous. Women pull away because they feel negative emotions.

Yes, you made a very logical point. Men need their own space.
When a guy starts to back off, women may feel worry or panic that they did something wrong. They might feel that his love has come to an end.
But this notion is wrong.

Men take space from his woman, simply to come back to his own self.

Women have a larger capacity for emotional intimacy than men. It's what you're made for.
While men, of course, love feeling bonded with women, they also have strong desire of being autonomy and independence.



2. Men feel competent by making woman happy. Women feel met by receiving from their men.


A man derives great satisfaction by providing for and making his partner happy.

And women love receiving from their men!

But here’s the problem: women often over-function so much in relationships that they don’t allow space for a man to come forward to do things for them.

When women over give, men take a back seat.

If you are the ones constantly making all the plans, cooking all the meals, controlling the schedule, and making sure everything is taken care of, there is not enough room for a man to be a man.
So, give him a chance and let him do things on his own for you.



3. Men are more likely to orient to the world with their minds. Women are more likely to orient to the world with their hearts.


As women, you can often feel like men don’t get it. And you’re right. They truly don’t understand the world of emotions the way you do.

Problem-solving makes him feel good! Logic makes him feel good! Being mind-oriented makes him want to fix. It’s just how he understands to the world.

And emotions, well, they aren’t fixable. This is why your emotions can feel so frustrating and scary to a man.

This is all natural. You simply cannot push your thought process into his mind.

The best way to handle this difference is, Respect it !

I think Men like when women expresses her feelings in constructive way.

 

Men always like their wifes to be good looking ,attractive, supporting,caring, respecting,understanding partners..

 

Talk less, nag less, work more, ignore all his flaws, never get fat and stay attractive even when you are 60.

I think this is all relative..

me and my wife are not the same in nature... I don't talk much.. she shares a lot about how her day went, what she did at work, how the work is... so on..

so I necessarily don't agree with talk less?

definitely agree with nagging.. less nagging and more logical discussion is better...
