Shallots or Pearl Onions

    Friends,
    Which one is nutritious/good, shallots or Pearl onions? And which one you prefer for what dishes, like pearl onion for chutnies/sambar and Shallots for gravies/other dishes? Is one more tastier than the other one? Pour some comments please...

    I don't know what is pearl onions but i use shallots for sambar and lamb curry.They taste awesome. Take care.

    I am totally point blank for both Shallots and Perl onions. I don't know about these twos.
