Gae, at first I was scared too when my older son got colicky. It didn't matter what I ate, he was colicky for about 2 months. I used techniques such as cycling his legs, rub his tummy gently in circular motion, put him in a bathtub filled with warm water, give Harde water, and click calm (homeopathic drops we get over here). I have been in your shoes, if you get exhausted then give your son to DH and give yourself a little break so that you can take better care of him. This stage will also pass, be patient. Also, people will give their opinions, it's your lo so you make the call.

My updates: I am almost 7 weeks pp, done with last doc visit and no more restrictions. The first thing I did after appointment was picking up my older one! I missed picking him up, he was happy too that mom can hold him and play with him. My little one is doing good and sometimes he sleeps straight 4-7 hours at night. I have now one week at home then again my busy schedule will start. I also miss this board and all you ladies. I hope that we keep this post alive and share each milestone achieved by our May 2014 babies. Have a good weekend everyone.
