mirror with aari ..

hi umasivasankar ... this is for you

i could not attach this pic in the reply part so posting as a sep thread ... you can do mirror with aari .. actually not mirror .. a small tikki kind of thing .. hv attached a pic from my sampler from long back ... mebbe some one will hv a better way of doing it .. lets wait for the experts opinion ..

Mirror work can be done with Aari needle too. It is done after sticking the mirror or tikki with fabric glue. The work is very nice and neat. May be one more round of chain stitch with Aari needle could make it more prominent. Very good work. Keep it up Madhu.

hi umasivasankar .. it is done with aari needle only ... like lakshmi1945 said you hv to stick the tikki first with fabric glue and then do aari work around it .. chain stitch as close and keep going closer .. avlothan

thank you lakshmi1945 ... this was done during my learning days .. wl keep your suggestion in mind when i do tikki work on a blouse material .. thanks for the idea given

yes almost and since you have used a mirror do another round of stitch at least so the mirror ends dont hurt .. gr8 going .. keep it up ...
