So finally June club has started delivery process after a long wait of 9 months

Wish all the ladies here safe and easy delivery and we will be holding our LOs soon

 

Hi ladies..
I hope everyone is still hanging in there...or has anyone delivered,Other than viki? How are you all doing? Any updates?

My update..
Had an appointment today with my doc,she did internal examination and test for group B strep. I am already 3 cm dilated and baby is in head down position. Since this is my second pregnancy she said baby's head may not be engaged till the D day. Baby's weight is normal and everything looks good. My sugar levels are under control too. Anymore i will have appointments every week

So i may go into labor anytime from now...though i have 3 weeks time for my due date! Since this is second pregnancy she asked me to be very vigilant.. Keep track of any contractions..if it gets regular,i need to start timing because it can progress very fast this time around. She asked me to call once the contractions comes every 10 min.

Hopefully i will go into labor in a week or two... I was looking for info regarding inducing labor naturally, found some that i am interested in...lets see if it will work

Ladies... Castor oil is a bad idea to induce labor( as far as i read and what doctors recommend), as it can cause very bad abdominal cramps and diarrhea for both mom and baby. If the baby start having diarrhea when he/she is in your tummy,baby can ingest the stool ...which could be a serious problem.

I am glad to inform that I delivered a baby girl on 5th June!!

Birth Story in brief:

We decided to get induced at 40 weeks- 5th Morning. Even before the induction process began, my water bag started leaking. Was 3 cm dilated then, and the gyn advised to start the induction process. In no time I had started having very strong contractions at about 7min intervals, and was fully dilated and delivered normally within 2.5 hours!!

Am Back home, but have a hands full with both kids!!

That was a very short labor for sure.. how is your recovery process? Are you breast feeding? Good that the labor started naturally.

I know its going to be tough with 2 kids.. Did you name the baby?
