    Hi Sowmya,

Which locality you live in? Send me your hubby's mobile, so hubbys can get it touch with each other. Then once I come in, we can meet! Do you mean to say we get typically same kind of flowers which we use for pooja back in India like jasmine, kadambham, lotus etc? send me your email so we can get in touch..mine is akilav82(at)gmail(dot)com

    Thanks!
    Akila

    Hi Akila,

Glad to know that you will here in Doha, soon.

You can get all Pooja items like kumkum, chandan, Vibhoothi, earthen lamps, camphor, cotton wicks, incense sticks etc., from the Indian Supermarket in Doha.

On Festive occasions, you can get flowers from LuLu, FFC, Indian Supermarket. There is one shop, where you could get weekly which is 'Welcome Supermarket', that Sowmya has mentioned. You will get wide variety of flowers (Jasmine, Roses, Marigold, vilvam leaves, lotus) there every wednesday and on festive occasions.

    MadhuSharmila,

Thanks a lot for your reply! Please let me know the location, so I can inform my hubby to look for a compound in or around that area (near "Welcome Supermarket").

    Regards
    Akila

    Akila,

Welcome Supermarket is near Mannai roundabout. Musherib is the area closest to it. Other areas that are close to it are Bin Mahmoud, Al Sadd and Mamoura.

Do you want to find a house near to it for the sake of flowers? Don't think, by the name, that it is a big Supermarket. It is a small shop like the corner shops in any other place.
