Love will surely come

After such a long time I am again coming up with a new love story "Love will surely come". In some people's life, love is such an important thing that they wait for it all through their life. Interesting and this time love will cross​

the national boundaries.

It was 8:00 AM in the clock. Madhu was getting ready to drop her son(4 years old) to the school. She was about to leave that her (Two and half years old) daughter got up and started crying. She tried to convince her daughter but she wanted to come along with her mummy. She had no option but to take her along. So she got her ready a little bit and they all left for the school. As usual her son got late and missed the assembly. She dropped him and went straight away to home after buying milk for the home. Now she has to get her daughter ready for play school. She came back, got her ready and again went to drop her to school.

Madhu was now going in her car to the gym she joined recently to shed some extra kilos she gained after her two cesarean operations at a gap of only one and half year difference. This was the only time she was getting for herself away from home. Every weekdays she used to follow the same morning routine. Then in the afternoon, first she has to pick her daughter from school and then her son. Cooking gets finished early in the morning as her husband leaves quiet early in the morning.

After the lunch time, she gets fully exhausted and takes a nap. In the evening she will have to prepare the snacks, make her children do their homework, cook dinner and sleep. All the way, everyday she is performing all her task alone without the help of anyone though she lived with her in-laws. She can't say anything to husband as he belongs to the IT world and his life also revolves around travelling to office, working out there, over times and back home. So she could not complain. She had numerous medical problems after delivery but still she very well performs her duties. She when sometimes get fully exhausted, she would say to herself that everybody is performing his or her duties. She is not the only one. But deep inside she feels left alone and lost in this world. No matter how many times she would think positively, the truth is she feels lonely in this world.

 

Madhu got married when she 26. It was an arranged marriage between same caste. She quit her job after the birth of her son. Thereafter she remained a house wife. No matter how nicely she used to perform her duties at home but it her efforts seemed always less to the in-laws and husband. Here early days of marriage went in quarrels and arguments. She being an educated, intelligent girl, never listened to anything wrong. This was against her self-respect. In-laws could not digest this fact. Her husband though cool and calm, earlier favored his parents. This lead to more arguments. But after the children were born, fights with husband almost got vanished.

Madhu was trying to adjust to her best. But the charm and life she had dreamed of, was lost somewhere.

 

Its been Nine years now. Life was moving at a much faster pace. Madhu have understood the meaning of practical living and that she should now come out of her dream world. After all the whole responsibility of her kids was on her. She knew that it was just the beginning, her kids were too young and now she has to behave like a mature lady. But living the whole life with people we don't like is not so easy.

Her kids recently got admitted to schools and therefore she was getting atleast time to look after her health. She wanted to engage herself in more and more activities so that time left for negative people and thoughts.

Relationship with husband was improving. She was calm and a but happy. You can call it a compromise or intelligence to fit yourself in the world where you are not meant, when there is no option. Her husband owned a good position in IT and now he feels he had no scope left to grow more here in India. So he was planning to apply abroad for a job.

After an years struggle, he got a call from a US based firm. He was very happy as he wanted to get settled abroad. Madhu was also very happy. She also wanted her kids to grow up in a better place. After making all arrangements for growing broad, they finally left for United States. In-laws did not come as they will be called after their visa comes. Also they had some property matters pending behind.

Madhu was cheerful in the plane. First because she wanted to move abroad. It was like a dream come true and secondly because she was moving there without in-laws. She will get sometime to breath free, in open air.

When they touch the new land, she got more excited to see the fresh dirt-free air, big buildings and a feeling that you are in heaven. There were now in taxi. The driver dropped them to their new house. Madhu was amazed to see the cleaniness and the houses out there. The houses were build independent, surrounded with lawns from all the sides. Her new house was a duplex kind, flowers, trees and so much of greenery. They were in New Jersey region of United States.

 

"Beginning of Madhu's golden period"

Madhu was enjoying the settling down period in States. Each and every bit of planning was done by her as her husband got busy in settling down in new office. So she used to plan and he agrees to whatever she plans. Though the house was furnished, Madhu still want to make some changes in the interior. She wanted to add so much positive energy around her that she wants to forget all the pain she has gone through in her past. She knew her in-laws will come there one day but still there was lot of time. She wanted to live her life in this short span of time. She wanted to add more color around, flowers, paintings, wind chimes and make the children's room more lively. She wanted to have a big mandir in the living room for puja. She wants that whosoever come in, should feel the art and creativity around.

She was now more productive. Naturally when we are happy, we do things with full zest and energy. She was taking care of kids happily without getting exhausted. She used to play, study and talk with them, thus building a strong bond with the children. Even the children had nobody other than their mother. In the evening, they all used to visit near by markets and walk on the roads in the area around. In the way they find other Indians and got to know where they lived in the locality. Some of them where from Delhi as well. Fortunately they got to know, there were around five-Six Indian families around.

 

"Who was next door"

Madhu's children were now going to school. She had enough time for herself and do things she likes to. After finishing up with cooking, cleaning and all the household work, she would read the newspaper, watch tv, write posts for communities, listen to music or go out for a short walk. Life was so easy going and the way she always dreamed of. She wished now the priorities in life are changing, somehow both herself and in-laws should forget all the past arguments and live lovingly ever now. There is no good in quarrels and ego. But for that in-laws should also think in the same way.

Most of the houses seemed closed in the day time. Both husband and wife might be working in those houses. Two months already went by and she never got a chance to see who lives next door. Whenever she walked outside, her eyes always used to reach that home next door. As women are curious by nature, she was quiet eager to know about their neighbor. Even on weekends, she never got a chance to see them. But other neighbors in the locality got familiar with her family. Some neighbors, especially the teenagers were very curious to know about India and Indian culture. Madhu had powerful communication skills. She could impress anybody with her soft voice and interesting stories. At a very young age, she had seen a lot of life and understands human nature to a great extend. She could talk for hours about it.

In the night Madhu after making the children sleep, will go out for a walk. Her husband as has to go to office, sleeps early. Madhu was a loner in some respects while on the other hand, she always desire for a true companion. So it hardly matters whether somebody accompanies her while walking. She had so many thoughts going in her mind. She loved to watch other people walking, talking outside.

It was one such night, when Madhu saw a shadow of someone in the adjoining house. As she was very curious to know about her neighbors she kept on watching through the window of the house, from a long distance. The shadow seemed to be of a man. It was hard to see his face. He was standing inside the room, holding a book in his hand and a bug of probably coffee. He was walking here and there, reading the book. No light other than that room was lit. May be that man was living alone. After sometime, the man turned off the lights. Madhu stopped looking out there. She then quickly saw here and there to make sure nobody was watching her. She also then came inside her home and went to sleep.

Next morning she woke up with the same zest and energy. She performed all her duties on time and was now free to do anything of her choice. She was about to sit on her sofa that she heard a strange sound from outside. The sound was like as if someone had fallen and was crying for help. She immediately moved outside and saw a man in forties fallen from a bicycle very badly. His right knee was bleeding and he was in pain. He was not an Indian but US citizen. She quickly reached the person and approached him.

Madhu: O God. You are badly hurt. What happened?
Madhu was busy looking at his wound and she touched his leg. Today Madhu had just come out of her bath. Her hair were slightly wet and she was wearing a long ethnic kurta. She was very fond of perfumes. So she was smiling fresh and like a flower.
The man looked up at her surprisingly as if he does not know what and for a moment he forgot his pain. Madhu kept observing his wound and was thinking how to help him. After a while, he regained his senses and answered to Madhu...
Man: Ooooo I was driving my bicycle too fast and It got skid.
Madhu: O.k. don't worry. I will help you. Please give me your hand and hold me.
The man was strongly built, tall with a very attractive face. He thought for a second and give his hand immediately to Madhu. He did not want to think anything right now. So he just followed to what Madhu was saying.
Madhu hold his hand and supported him so that he could stand up. She then put his hand on her shoulder and gave support of her body so that he could walk. This man on the other hand, was lost watching Madhu. But madhu's mind was only in helping him some how.
