Hi My daughter is 2.5 year old. from june she will going to nursery. and for school i want to give snacks.. she wont eat any biscuits and any other packet foods in shop. so now i confused.. please give some ideas.. which is healthy and nutritious food.. thank you
It is great that your child won't eat biscuits. They aren't nutritious anyway. Sticks of steamed veg like carrots or fruits will do well. Or dry fruits. Or dal and a veg mashed and made into kebabs. Sticks of cheese. Slice of bread with peanut butter or almond butter. There are lots of such healthy options.
My DD too is 2.5 and ditto like ur DD . she dnt like biscuits , jam , chips , too much sweet etc . I give her steamed veg / corn with butter and little pepper . or chapathis stuffed with veg / fruits . wheat bread cubes with cheese/nutella . flavoured oats , poha , potato balls ,finger chips (potato , fish etc) , boiled egg with salt nd pepper , fruits etc ...
My 2.5 year old DD goes to playschool and I pack regular breakfast items in her snack box - mini-idli, mini-oothappam, parathas, rava/semiya upma, poha etc. Sometimes, I also include fruits like banana, grapes, apples etc.
