On a lovely romantic day of spring Came a swarm of them fast and humming. The collective sound was mesmerizing And the flowers bent slightly brimming, With joy that transformed so quickly to A fragrance that hypnotized the bees. The thought of honey intoxicated too And each of them found theirs with ease. Except one which for some reason Did not choose any though there were Many flowers left hoping that season, They would be spreading everywhere. Finally, the lonely bee chose A flower that was no special. Not a great fragrance or many hues Of colour was there in it as well. But something happened after the Bee chose that flower and that was So magical and its honey was the Best of all; Other bees were at a loss. It never forgot that little bee That made its life so lovely. As it wilted, it still had the Smile that lasted eternally.
