Tips to lighten the elbows:

Tip 1 :

The simplest one is to rub some lemon daily in that area and this will naturally bleach the elbows
Dip the lemon in sugar granules and work it up on your elbows and leave it for 20 mins . This should help you to some extent .

Tip 2:

Take some baking powder and mix it with water . Apply this mixture on your elbows and this should also lighten your elbows .

Tip 3 :

You may also rub tomato dipped in sugar on your elbows .

Do this daily and it will help you a lot dear

Sorry to know that it didn't suit you. As you mentioned that your scrub was a little coarse i think washing with it is scrubbing your acne prone skin way tooo much and spreading the acne a lot. Don't worry dear i have an alternate solution for you . Please try this and this shall combat your acne problem

1 tbs : Multani mitti
1 tbs : besan
1 tsp : Neem powder ( You get this easily at any ayurvedic shop)

Mix all of it together . You may wash your face with this dear.

Sobha if you don't want to add besan you may exclude that as well.. but besan is very fine so i recommended you that
