    Hi,

We used to tell about a judgement like this.
Kill him not, let him free.
Kill him, not let him free..

    Real magic of Comma.

Comma, with a beautiful crescent facing downwards a fine screen separating two ideas.Notwithstanding sms slangs intruding even in business correspondences and notes, it is desirous that the sanctity of a language should be protected. Dear Professor, don't put a full stop to comma. Let it continue and glorify us by meaningful separation.

    Dear Mr Cheeniya,
I started :rotfl and my DH came running and asked, "what happened? I never heard you bursting out with laugh like this."

I told him to read your Fb to my snippet on his i pad.
I thoroughly enjoyed your humorous fb!

As we were taught only colonial British English which threw open a floodgate of opportunities on all fronts, we will not fall prey to American English. Yet we will keep accepting good language skill from wherever it is coming.

    Dear shiji,
Thanks for sharing one more example of how comma could do magic with its placement in a sentence.

    Dear Jayasala,
You have compared comma to crescent which adorns the sky after Newmoon. The same way comma also adorns a sentence giving appropriate meaning to it when inserted at the appropriate place.
Just one professor can't put a full-stop to comma as long as we all use it.

Hahaha P Mami. It just reminded me of Henry Higgins when he ranted about "The Americans have not spoken English for years". He would probably have added "And they plan to forget how to write English too"! :-D

Interesting snippet and some very interesting fbs too.

    Dear Satchi,
I think only Indians are much better in spoken and written English and even the British people find now that their children are doing poorly in their own language.
Indians are doing poorly in their mother tongue and trying to master the English language.
