preschool near culver city and around

Hi Everyone

We are relocating to LA for sometime from India soon. Never been to US b4..

My hubby;s workplace is going to be near Wilshire boulavard....

We are looking for an apartment at a reasonable distance from his workplace, having some Indian community and also a good preschool (for 3 yr old son) nearby, preferably at a walkable distance from the apartment.

Budget is around $1900-2100 pm.

We are currently considering apartments near culver city but have no idea about nearby preschools if any.

Is there anyone on the forum who sends their kids to preschool in culver city or has some info on the same.

Or is there any other area apart from culver city , we should consider?

Any suggestions or pointers to the same would be welcome.

You can relocate to La Brea apartments in Los angeles west. It is a center place to all shops. Good area to walk around inside the apartment complex, that much big area.
We were there for 2 years.

Hi vidhyalakshmid

Any idea what is the rent range for the 1BR or 2BR apartment u paid at La brea...and also what is the average utilities bill for electricity, gas and water, etc.

Also, did you buy ur own furniture?if Yes, can u suggest some stores....

thank you for this useful advice! it's great to hear what mom's are saying with kids just a little older than our little one. we'll be doing this research this year too.
