Hi Supriya, After the match, Sree said "hard-luck" to Bhajji, since Bhajji's team lost the match, so Bhajji pushed and slapped Sree.
Oops!!! So everyone thinks Sree provoked Bhajji Well... news is Bhajji cant play for 5 ODI too..tht's his punishment from BCCI. Sree also got warned to improve his behavior on the field. I guess the media is over the story now
hi all, Whatever the problem is, the true sportsmanship is to be sportive... thats for the games are conducted. Jeny
Hi Priya.. Unfoetunately there's no such footage. The camera captured the event but it was not shown on tv..even the commentators didnt see the slap. The commentators were first thinking tht Sree got so emotional cuz of his team's win..then they were exclaiming tht somethung is wrong with Sree.Later in the press conference Yuvraj singh revealed abt the slap. Even i wish i could just see the slap BCCI is keeping it as a secret.
i dont agree that his crying was a drama...it says that sree went and told harbajan hard luck after the match and that was what which provoked him...
quite true! but it also says that when it was absolutely clear that punjab was on the verge of victory and not even a miracle could save mumbai indians, sree was taunting the mumbai tailenders when they got out. this is not the right way to treat your fellow players. am not saying harbajan is right, but sree does not deserve any sympathy - you get early breakthroughs and be proud, you don't taunt when you get tailenders out and this was not even a close match!! regards, priya
