    Hi Sridevi & All,

    I was a part of 100 days challenge thread and came down from 65.3 kgs to 62 kgs. I could sincerely work out only for 60 days out of the planned 100. Nevertheless i consider this as a good start and want to continue in 2014 so joining this thread.

    buddies..
    i'm a silent reader of IL for a long time. i inspired a lot by IL. i came here through google search only.
    Come to the point..
    i need motivation to reduce weight from u guys...

    Can u tell me please how to start my weight loss jurney.
    i planned to do LS walk daily atleast 3miles and to cut oily foods from my food intake. i hope i'll get lot of motivators here.

    it becomes very tough as you move toward your target. for some the last 5 kgs are the most toughest..it takes months to even lose 1 kg..i remember shiva struggling too..

    that is one of the reasons i suggest not to go below the 1500 point when you are losing. because your body learns to adapt and adjust to 1500 and then to reduce according to your new weight, and then maintain the minimum required 1200 to not let your body go into starvation mode is difficult.

    no wonder doctors recommend nutiritionist to plan your meals.

    i take this chance to tell all those who eat very less, to eat properly,sensibly and never let your body take over you. you have every right to confuse, cajole that body, of yours to understand you and work with you, and not against you..

    all the best..let us move forward..and i am sure every one of us will achieve our targets so what if it is a snail paced momentum...
