How to make colour kolam powder ?

    You get colored sand in Michaels and you can mix that with rice powder since the sand is a little rough. I like it to fill for colors though just with the sand and you even get a small bottle for filling and i like that.

    one other way of making color kolam powder is adding colours to salt. You can make colour by grating crayons and adding it to the salt.

    Wow.. So many new ideas in making color powder!!!

    I get the color powders available in the market and mix them either with white kolam powder or fine sand. I've also mixed them with crystal salt.

    Food colors with rice powder and Crayons with salt are quite new to me. Thanks for sharing these ideas buddies...
