There's a book "Learning Perl" by Randal Schwartz, Tom Christiansen & Larry Wall.Hope this book would help you in learning the basics in Perl. There's another book "Advanced Perl Programming" by Sriram Srinivasan.Hope you can get these books easily from the Internet.

 

There is a website called Perlmonks.org . Any question or query regarding perl is answered there including lots of real world examples with code.

For good examples in Perl programming, go for Perl Cookbook by OReily publishers.
