hi there, i would like to put it that way that both these destinations are different in concept. if you r looking for shopping, night life and fun, in that case singapore is the best place to go. However, should you like a peaceful holiday with tranquality, water sports, diving, there is no place better than maldives with prestine blue lagoons, white sandy beaches and resorts on private tiny islands. Maldives follow one island one hotel policy so u can imagine the kind of private and tranquality u can find. goodluck
Surely,Singapore will be much better.There is nothing much to do in Maldives except watch the sea and probably go fishing or snorkeling.If you like to spend time on the beach all the time,then Maldives is right for u. Singapore sightseeing you will require 5 days,nothing more.
