    Hello All,
    I tried pancakes with wheat flour, they turned out awesome.. it is healthy for kids too...
    here is the recipe.
    wheat flour- 1 cup
    egg white - 1/2 cup or 1 whole egg
    milk - 1 cup
    any nuts - 1/4 cup
    sugar - 2 tsp
    baking powder- 1/2 tsp

    mix all the ingridents in a blender ... in a pan with very litte oil pour the batter,
    pancakes are ready!!!!

    hi,
    i would like to add veg dalia recipe....

    In a pressure cooker

    step1 :fry broken wheat(1 cup) with little oil for 3-4 mins
    step 2:add 1/4 cup moongdaal(washed) fry for 1 minute
    step 3:now add water(3 cups) add carrot,beans,greenpeas,greenchilly(chopped),add turmericpdr,salt mix it and pressure cook it with 1 whistle only...
    step 4:let the pressure goes out, open the lid if it's more waterish again cook it till it's thick and serve it as it is if u want or else in a pan take little oil and add cuminseeds,curryleaves once they splutter add cooked dalia(broken wheat)cook it for 2 mins and serve it hot.........

    Energising oatmeal


    Ingredients:
    · 1 cup oats
    · 2 cups water
    · salt to taste
    · 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    · 1/4 cup raisins
    · 1/4 cup sliced almonds
    · 1 cup skim milk
    1 TBS honey
    Directions:
    1. Bring the water and salt to a boil in a saucepan, then turn the heat to low and add the oats.
    2. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly so that the oatmeal will not clump together. Add cinnamon, raisins and almonds, stir, cover the pan and turn off heat. Let sit for 5 minutes. Serve with milk and sweetener.
