Hello friends..friend of mine received a marriage proposal..she is a dentist staying in india.that guy is a permanent resident in singapore..we searched immigration website where we came across the term ltsvp..some of my friends told me a job is a must to stay there for a long time..otherwise they will issue visa only for 6 months and every six months we have to reapply..my friend will be unemployed for sometime until she finds a job..is she eligible for a pr..please clear my doubts
Hi Subiksha, If your friend is deciding to get married and move to SG then her husband can apply for a dependent pass for her which will be valid until his PR is valid, so it will not be a problem for her to come to SG and stay here on a long term basis. DP is usually valid as long as the sponsor's visa i.e. PR is valid. So no worries there. Now coming to her practicing medicine, for that you will have to check with MOM to see if her dental degree is valid in SG or if she has to take some exams to start her practice here. You can also check MOH website and enquire about the same. All the best to your friend
Hello all, I needed your expert advise. We plan to bring our in laws to Singapore for a short term (1-2months). Can you please let me know how to apply for short term visa for them, currently both me and my husband are on EP. on ICA website, it shows only PR or citizen can apply. thanks. P
