Hi Lavanya and others,

Hope your all doing well and taking very good care.

I am good, and yes, the weather is most annoying these days.

My official due date was yesterday (May 6th), but still no signs of labor. Went to meet the doc yesterday, she said that I would not be officially over due till 42 weeks. But she wants to wait for another week and then induce labor. We are hoping that it might not be needed and that baby will be born in the next one week.

Have appointment every alternate day these days. Thats the update from my end for now.

All the very best to all mommies expecting this month. Take very good care of yourself.

Hi Vidisha,
Thanks for asking... I'm still hanging in there. Nights are getting worse with discomfort and no good position to sleep. Heart burn is back with a vengence. But as the days go by my belly keeps getting lower a little bit at a time which makes me feel like all the weight is pulling me down. To add to all this, I'm homesick but that's expected I guess... DH tries his best to make me feel good. I don't have a clue when my li'l one is gonna pop out - will keep you guys posted. Enjoy your last month of pregnancy and go out to a nice dinner with your DH. You may never have alone time after this for a while...

Hi Lavanya!!

I just read your reply in this thread that you are feeling homesick. As you said its natural but dont worry friend we all are here to support you. I know we cannot help you after your delivery or during these last and toughest days of pregnancy but our wishes are with you Bow. So just hang on this too shall pass and soon you will be having your cute-little angel in your arms. And after some days you will be typing Computer Typing your first birth story to share with us after putting him/her to sleep. Ahhhh......what a relaxing thought ;-), isnt it Chillout!?

Thanks for your support and kind words V n baby. My doc thinks I have Braxton Hicks - they are pretty painful and uncomfortable especially when it happens at night. Doc doesn't think that there's any dilation so I have to wait some more time before anything dramatic happens.
