    Hi,
I recently came across this maestro multi cooker which doesn't have weight or gasket. It is cooking through steaming method.. I felt it's bit pricey and If any one of you have used it please share your views...

I have not used it, but the price seems quite high for what it does. Do you want to use it mainly for making idlis?
I have a Presto stainless steel cooker (with weight) which my mother uses when my parents come to stay. For myself, I use an electric cooker for rice and an electric steamer for dumplings. They cost around $20 each. I have an idli steamer bought in India, but only have idlis during mom's visits!

You can do the same with a double boiler on the stove top at a fraction of the cost ... tefal or farberware ones.

    Hi

My mother is using this for the past 1 month, she is very happy with the way the rice gets cooked without overflowing..

She has not tried other items so far

    regards
