    I have followed GM diet once ( may be 3 yrs back).

    Hello Ladies,

    I would like to join too. This is the first time I am joining a weight loss thread on IL. Please wish me luck!

    My name : prathibhahp
    Current weight : 179 pounds
    Target weight : 175 pounds
    Team : 4
    Goal weight : 165 pounds

    I am keeping a modest goal with a weight loss of 1 lb/week. I hope it is not too hard if I maintain my diet and get plentiful of exercise.

    My challenges :
    1. To keep moving throughout the day and get exercise of at least 30 min in the morning/evening and 15 min of walking after dinner.
    2. Doing suryanamaskars for half an hour everyday.
    3. To make Breakfast as my biggest meal of the day, followed by lunch and then dinner.

    HI SHSK :-

    Multigrain Dalia :- Multigrain Dalia is very nutritious...in india i use patanjali multigrain dalia...but here its not available so i make it at home.



    500g Broken wheat (Bulgur)
    500g rice
    500g bajra
    500g moongdal (split)
    20g ajwain
    50g white til(sesame seeds)

    Roast all of them and store in big box.....

    How to cook :-
    Take 50 gm of multigrain Dalia in pressure cooker and add a glass of water, add grated ginger, chopped green coriander, 1 green chillie, u can add some vegetables in it....i add 1 zuchini chopped and 50 gm peas....cook it til 4-5 whistle....and its ready. It might not be very tasty but its very nutritious.

    Myself too.. Too much frustrated too see the 60's... I was planning for a GM diet this week and was very happy to see your post... So, shall we start from tomorrow?
