Broken Wheat Pongal Ingredients: Broken wheat-1cup, Moong dhall - 1/2 cup Ghee - 1 Table spoon Water - 4cups Milk - 1/2 cup cashewnuts , ginger,pepper,jeera,salt, hing,curry leaves as per taste. Method of preparation: Pressure cook broken wheat, dhal, water and milk. Give 6 to 7 whistles. Heat a pan with ghee, add jeera , pepper, cashews, hing and curryleaves. Put this into the cooked pongal, add salt and stir well. Healthy and tasty broken wheat pongal is ready. A healthy recipe that I personally make at home quite often.
