    6. Where'd You Go, Bernadette - Maria Semple

    This book was very different from any other book I have read. The entire book is in the forms of emails and notes with very little direct conversations. The reason for this is revealed later in the story. It is hilarious and keeps you hooked till the end. I would definitely recommend this book.

    7. And the Mountains Echoed - Khaled Hosseini

    Like the other books by Hosseini this too is set in Afghanistan. There are way more characters in this than his other books. It's definitely worth a read. I was a little disappointed with the book but the more I think about it, I am a little glad he didn't tie up all the stories neatly. Makes it a little more realistic.
