    My updates for June 7:

    Food:
    Bfast - 2 slices bread toast
    Lunch - Morekulambu rice with kootu
    Dinner - 2 scoops rice

    Water - 1.5 ltrs

    Exercise:
    3 miles walk with pedometer
    5 miles cycling.

    todays update

    empty stomach 1 lt water
    breakfast tea+3 dosas+chutney
    lunch 2 rotis+curry
    snack 3 dates
    water 3 ltrs
    dinner 1 roti+curry+fruitbowl

    water 4 ltrs
    exercise 30mins=2miles=300cals (my husband was standing behind me to step down. so he can do his workout.. i sacrificed my workout. for him :)

    2) lean meat(YES)

    Today, I tried working out in the gym...
    first time in my life targeted for 800 calories.
    combining elliptical and treadmill, having water breaks in between , I managed to reach 800 calories in 120 mins...
    since it was continuos workout, very tired and super hungry when i reach home... nothing was visible to me except the big cookie box on the dining table... I think my kids kept it outside. without even refreshing myself, I swallowed 2 cookies...All my hard work was wasted...Infact, I wanted to hit gym since my evening snack was bad. fried item in a gathering...prepared vada for friends and kids. ate on the higher side...

    usually, if I had good snack before workout, I manage to survive without any cravings. today, unusual workout and unusual junk snacking...
    Now, I saw your post related to it...so sharing immediately. A big :bonk for me!

    My update for today:

    water- 4 ltrs
    food- 1 bread slice, milk,watermelon,half grapefruit
    1 veg paratha, kuruma,channa, yogurt
    vadai and tea ( I ate like workers who rely on vada and tea only after their day )
    cookies -2 after workout
    veg kuruma half bowl
    exercise- 5 sets SN,120 mins gymming.

    challenges:
    healthy evening snack- nil
    floor workout 5 days a week- nil

    I have a humble request to you all dears....... Hope you will excuse me. I don't have weighing machine. now am checking in my nearby clinic. so i can't update my weight weekly. Hope i'll get my wm within this month. So i'll update my weight by the end of the month.

    Update for 7th June 2013

    Coffee + 1 rusk
    Breakfast: 1 banana + 1/4 croissants with nutella
    Lunch: Rice with fish curry + Prawn fry
    Chocolate cake
    Evening: Green tea
    1/2 samosa + few pakodas (Went to a friend's place for the weekend. Couldn't deny)
    Dinner: Corn flakes with milk + 1 banana

    Exercise: 45 mins
    Treadmill: 30 mins
    Water: 3.5 litres

    hi dear anu, triphala is powder mix of amla+baheda peelings+harad.. it has lots of health benefits. in the case of weight loss, it helps if we take it in luke warm water. i soak two spn of triphala powder in two glass of water. next morning i boil it till it reduce to 1/4. then drink with honey mixed.
