Reminds me of the time I had grwn some organic okra(ladies' fingers) and made bindi masala out of it- they were so tender & fresh and a lovely light green(so unlike the store bought ones)

:wowVeggies are so expensive to buy from the market nowadays, so it makes a lot of sense to grow your own vegetables at home. Fresh off the vine and into the cooking pot. What could be better!:thumbsup

I used panchagavya only.Though it has many benefits,what i saw was it made the leaves thicker so the insects cannot eat or suck the nutrients from the plants.it acted as a protective layer.It is really a pleasure to cook from our own garden.It also gives us so much knowledge.I learnt that for the cucumber to grow big we have to pinch out the end of side shoot and much more.The prices of the vegetables are really high here too.growing your own vegetable garden reduces the amount of vegetables you buy outside to some extend.
