Embroidery :Darwari work on Saree

Hi Thx for the response. If darwari work is different from kasuti, how do you do darwar embroidery. Same running stitch with square edges?

Hi,

I am learning Kasuthi and over the internet I find that Darwari is same as Kasuthi. Since you say they are different, can you give me websites where I can see the darwari designs? I want to know how they look.

thanx 4 yr encouragement.
i've posted a reply some days back, but it's missing.

i've traced the design using carbon paper.by using pearl cotton, v get more embossed stitches which gives the feel of bunch.

Thanks for your reply? How do you do embossed stitch. We can see the stem stitch and chain stitch. But how did you do square wedges? Are they simple running stitch like kasuti and filling while coming back? If you exaplin bit more, we can also start working? What is cluster effect?
