hi senorita... thanx a lot for sharing such a wonderful picture of the monument.... cheers...!!! ashu
Hey Guys... Just want to hear your opinion about this monument. Senorita Thanks for posting this picture.. its a good one... had seen a documentary in History Channel.. If you guys have a chance.. please do watch.. it take you to places inside that even if you go there physically you wont be allowed. But I am vivid reader of different books.. read few books about Taj.. It has such a great history.. but still I couldnt get myself to be :bowdown:bowdown:bowdown over it.. because...... I don't know how many knew this.. but all the workers had their hands amputated so that they don't create the same sculptural designs as they did for this king. Is it really worth all these workers pain??? A mausoleum... ok...great... a symbol for a husband's exorbitant..costly love for his wife..ok accepted.. but to be torturing all the workers to work for 22 hrs a day with just one meal and in full sun... is it humane? is it all worth :-( :-(
because it was a known fact from the books written during those times by many known authors.. Even the history of the world acknowledges that We know history only by people writing them in those years.... and if that content is guaranteed by all the historians around the world.. then it becomes an acceptable event Sorry if I meant Anti-Something....I just pointed my personal feeling after researching/reading on this monument thats all.
