    Hi ILs,

I have a plan to buy a cnimney. But I dont know more about chimnies. We went to Elica and one more store. They both have only 1000m3/hr amd more suction capacity chimnies. Ours is a 4 member family and we cook NV every week. Please help me to choose a better brand of chimney... How much should be the suction capacity, noise level, and which filter is better for our small family and easy to clean?.... Thanks in advance...

I have Faber at my home, bought before 4 months. It does a pretty decent job. Mine is a family like yours cooking non veg every week. But some how, the guy did not fit it correctly and hence there is a lot of noise.

I have seen Kaff at my friends home which looks compact and sound is minimum compared to Faber but expensive than Faber

I am not sure about Gilma, i went to the store but did not like the models. Prices were on high end for the models they had so went with faber which was looking decent/ better rate for 1100 suction power.

    Hi,

you need minimum of 1000m3/hr suction capacity if you are cooking nv. and also pls check the outlet Pipe length, if it is more u need more capacity one. I (family of 4) have a Elica 1100 m3/hr suction capacity at home and a friend has faber...when compared we felt the noise is more in Faber...Dont go for the mesh filter, its a old one and very tough to clean....I have a baffle filter and it is ok for cleaning.
