    HI Lakshya,

    Congratulations on ur pregnancy! :)

    Even i have the same symptoms with no vomitting.. I too got it confirmed during my 5th week on HPT and then in a hospital.. I wasnt able to believe that i've a little one in my tummy,till now.. whenever i read the baby's growth weekly it really amazes me abt the size and the organs growing on the tiny little one..

    I had my first ultrasound in 7th week.. It will ossum to hear the heartbeat and see the little heart pumping... Take my words, u will enjoy it..

    Hello ladies...

    i am silent observer of this great forum and thanks all of you for support....

    we are trying for baby since last 6 months...and today i got positive in home pregnancy test...:party:

    going to meet my gynic today or tomorrow for further updates..soooo excited...

    by the way, do i come in nov 2013 club or Dec 2013...?? my dear husband is on cloud nine....:banana

    @haritha Your due date depends on the last period date. You can use online due date calculators to find out the due date temporarily.

    I am going to complete my 6th week in 2 days. I have been taking everyday one glass each of orange juice and carrot juice. Yesterday I had brinjal curry. I don't know that we shouldn't eat brinjal.
    One sad thing is I saw little spotting yesterday and day before yesterday. I am scared. What to do? I have my doctor appointment in 3days. Meanwhile what should I do? Anyone has the same problem. Please share some advice.

    @srilak if you are spotting then take bed rest. Keep your legs in an elevated position. If there is continuous spotting/bleeding then go the doctor immediately.

    Thank you Ramya for response. From the past one week I worked continuously and it really had bad impact on my baby. What should I further do to safe guard my pregnancy?

    Is eating brinjal is a big "NO'" during pregnancy? How about drinking carrot juice and orange juice?
