How to get mrittika (soil) of Kukke Subramanyam temple by post.

Last month I send the money thru M.O of Rs.100/- to the Kukke subramanya Temple, and recd. the prasadam within 15 days, because I am in Karnataka. I think in your case, it will take time to the temple authorities to send the prasadam because you are in other State.

Om sairam, This is what I have heard from Elders...

As you walk from the Main Gopuram towards the north side you will reach Adi Subrahmanya temple where you can see great ant hill in the sanctum. Poojas are performed here and the sand/soil is offered as prasadam to the devotees. The soil is said to be very good for skin diseases and any other kind of health problems.

This is similar to Vaitheeswaran Temple (sthala for Chevvai - Mars) near Cuddalore, TamilNadu the Navagraha Sthalam
