Need King size mattress feedback

Will certainly look for the type & brand of Futon you've mentioned. Seems like a very sensible idea... we've used only metal ones so far. As wooden would be much thicker/stable, I think this might just work . :idea Thanks for the tip pal.

This pic shows the type of arrangement in wood that you need to make the futon comfortable. My sofa is similar although it folds down much differently. Look for the slat configuration in whatever you buy. I also have a couple frames that are for single size mattresses that I keep for visitors. They are also comfortable. If your husband is handy he could also put something together.

Yes Tina , this is just exactly what I had in mind !! We've been using the metal ones which fold down vertically in the center... utter torture I tell you !
