Are men scared of smarter women??

Many men do cherish their wives, when the later are smarter. But, the same logic holds good for love marriages too, ......Dude...!

 

Works both ways:
Men are not comfortable with "smarter women" and neither are women comfortable with men less smarter than them - this is a generalization, exceptions may occur.

 

Actually, the smarter women generally don’t try to show too much of their smartness. And smart men will generally get the best out of smarter women, however smarter/smartest she is. To put it simply, smart men (not even smarter or smartest) are able to get much better out of smarter women as they know that it will make their own life happy and comfortable.

Irrespective of whatever are the personal opinions, it is a fact that neither smarter nor smartest, but even a man with basic common sense will be able to get the best from a smarter woman.

one of the main criteria for that is to make her feel she is smarter woman but never remind her of the benefits/responsibilities that can be reaped . And men with basic common sense will do that comfortably

Since I have not gone through much here, I cannot say whether women around here are smarter or they might be dealing with dumb heads of men who can never even border in common sense.That way, it is a mismatch in life but not judging smartness in women.

 

One of the IL posted that Men are proud of Smarter Woman.. I do agree.. these days all DH want ttheir DW 's to be smart compared to their friends..

 

man are afraid of failures.....so when they encounter a smart women...they are struck and they try to prove that they are equal to the smart women...i feel so

 

Every man's wish is that his wife
- shud have better looks than him
- shud cook better than him
- shud look aftr kids and organize house better than him
and in these aspects a husband doesnt have a problem if the wife scores higher marks than him

Pain points for husband
- wife drawing a higher paycheck
- highly qualified than him
- designations (not sure if tech leads will b happy marrying a VP or CEO lady)

Leave abt husband wife combination.....that varies with family background and place of living, etc.

But do men like a smarter women overtaking their car in a signal. Do lorry drivers like a lady car driver asking him not to block a free left during peak hours????

Do peers in office look upon a lady as an equal candidate. In a team of 10 managers reporting to a VP, there were 9 men and 1 lady manager. She had to struggle enough to hold in that organization. Just bcoz she is a lady her straight forward comments in a group meeting were taken as harsh and rude and everyone wanted to take revenge on her and eventually made her run away from the org. This is how things work in every organization....women at same skillset never grow fast as men. Only women who try hooks and crooks can grow fast as their peers.

 

Yes, I would agree to that culture of seeking a groom with higher qualification and salary. 99% of arranged marriages ensure that is taken care of. But in a few love marriages, girls compromise for a low qualified groom and drawing lesse salary and even she is elgible for a HRA of 60k she lives in a 10k rented flat but who values her compromise and sacrifice. Both men and women suffer and thats never going to work here. Infact men suffer a lot marrying a less smart husband. U r correct SKMK.
