Hi ladies, Its tough to manage home, kids and work. So how do you all plan your day? I would definitely want to improve mine. I have a 2yr old. Here goes my schedule. 6am - Wake up 6.10 to 7am - Workout 7-8am - Getting ready for office and preparing breakfast 8.30am - Get LO ready and breakfast time and once done out of house Drop LO and reach office 6pm - Reach home with LO By 7 pm - Get dinner ready (mostly curries are made during weekends, so only rice or chapati to make) 7.30-8pm- Workout 8pm - Bathe LO and put him to bed 8.30-9.30 - Prepare for next day, watch TV with DH 9.30-10pm - Off to bed I bathe my LO during evenings only as morning I can't keep up with his fuss and unwillingness to bathe. I prepare curries during weekends and sometimes when I have the energy after getting back from work. I feed my son breakfast and the rest the daycare takes care till evening. Pls share your schedules too.
hi, my schedule goes like this: family of 5 - myself, dh, mil, fil and sil. and ofcourse my DS 5.30 am - wake up till 7.30 - prepare breakfast and lunch for everyone, supervise the maid who comes at 6, all lunch/snacks/evening milk for ds as daycare doenst give 7.30-9 am: wake up DS, dh, make ds have milk, bathe, dress her up, pack lunch for everyone, wind up kitched and leave to work , dropping ds to day care first 6 pm - return home with ds - sit with him for 10 mins , start veg cuting, while talking /playing with him. somehow manage to cook for all 5 by 8.30 pm. till 9.30 max - spen time with ds, arrange bed, room for night, etc, put ds to sleep 10-11 - attend to dh who comes home only by 10 most days. 11- sleep! i have in laws, who SOMETIMES manage ds in the evening. mornings i have ZERO help from anyone. mil is forever complaining of some aches. she offers to cook, but somehow i dont trust her as most of the times she doesnt wake up and hence we have to miss breakfast/lunch. at times, ds sleps by 9 -so i cut veg for next days lunch and breakfast, make preparations.

thanks all.. the key to everything is - planning AND waking up early. of course, sleeping early only facilitates the waking up part .
