This is the first time I am participating in a book challenge. I am a voracious reader and last year i managed to gobble up around 70 books..well 68 to be precise. My issue is that I cannot get myself to read any non-fiction. I get bored! So this year I want to read at least 20 non-fiction (you know management, biographies and all that kind of stuff) and 50 fiction works.

I started with a non-fiction this year
Kublai Khan by John Man (so far a very good read)

2012, i finished something around 150 books (got the number from my librarian) some were very serious reads, while others were just fun books.. and i should also thank mohur whose recommendations definitely gave me a lot of ideas to latch on too while selecting ...

this year maybe the same number or lesser..not sure.. will get the number at the end of the year

Thank god i borrow books...for my rental charges itself is so high imagine cant think how much i would have ended up paying if i did buy all the books..:hide::hide::hide:..
