Oh, Magee, how did I miss this post??
Perhaps, the temperature was low when you dropped it in oil to fry. Never mind, when the taste was good!!

    Dear C,

It was a few months back, I posted to you for the first time. Since then no stopping.

The following is no boasting, pls. I am hailing from a very rich family which always had three cooks. Because, everyday there will be around 50 guests for the lunch. Our cooks are from the same family and have been serving us for hereditaries. I was accompanied by a cook when I left my house after marriage. Irrespective of their name and age, we including my grandfather address all the cooks as annayya and annamma. It is my grandfather's policy to respect even the poor people. He considered the cooks to be The Goddess Annapoorani herself.

I have never entered the kitchen in life. But, after Sep. I explored a lot from unconventional idli to 'salt' sandan. A loving and caring way of being a family is unleashed. I invited my parents and gave a grand feast to their great surprise, choosing from your recipes. My daughter is so happy that I am packing her lunch these days. Guess what, my Mom has begun exploring in her kitchen.

It is all because of your ginormous collection. Thank you so much.

    Love
    Saritha Rakesh

    Dear Chithra
Wish you a very Happy New Year. I pray the Almighty to give you good health and peace.
We had a new year pot luck mostly north indian people. They asked for lemon rice and I also made carrot kheer. Carrot kheer was a super hit. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. The lemon rice though very simple and easy was enjoyed by everyone. I blindly follow your recipe even if its a simple recipe. I know I can count on it.
