    this was the first cassette i gifted my FIL way back in 1995/96, just as she was entering the arena. he loves karnaranjani and replicates the song so well. and we have listed and made around 10 songs in karnaranjani..amazing raga of karunai,and bakti.. will list the other songs when i find the cd/hard disk..

    before i forget another karnaranjani song that really pleases- om namo narayana...

    AAzhi mazhai kanna - by a composer vembu known to my FIL..sung by nityashree...


    I know some think they are too nasal..but ranjani and gayathri take the abangs to a higher plane..

    Oh Yes, I've been hooked to a couple of forums because of all the wacky comments and R/G's saree/blouse matching do draw a lot of comments. I like it though...good for them that they like dressing up as much as they like to sing:)

    rama, will do.. but the trend to wear similar goes way back to radha/jayalakshmi though they did not have these kind of bling/zing..

    but from what i have observed priya sisters, and even the kurtas of ganesh/kumaresh, carnatica brothers(sometimes) is very flashy..but you can't beat unnikrishnan.

    btw today jaya tv telecasts r/g's concert.
    malladi brothers concert was amazing with the pronunciations perfecttt...

    Abhangs of R&G are a sure shot treat.... i believe they can turn even a Atheist to be a God lover....:) (defn i m saying this on a lighter note).
    But as far as i have seen R&G are the only ones who dress on a sober side wrt to Bling/zing..... Some other ladies just hype too much.
    This year so far Malladi bro,R&G and Abhishek were simply superb.... i was not that impressed by Sudha though... :)
