Dont know whats the problem ... Please help

    Hi all,

    I got my periods last week and now i am completely feeling low and negative. I got up late with a sad face... Thinking all bad things that happened to me, how useless i am and what all people and relatives might be thinking about me... Morning my neighbour came home to say something and i didnt give a good response.. he was disappointed and told my husband that i didnt pay attention to what he was saying and that i was rude... I feel this is happening every month sometimes before my periods and sometimes after... During this period i dont have presence of mind. I keep doing things that are unnecessary at that point of time. Eg morning i got up late, instead of preparing lunch for my kid i was doing washing vessels which could have been postponed... But later when i think i feel i could have managed better... Now also i am just like that writing without knowing what i am writing... Dont know why I am behaving like this..
    I also noticed when myhubby says something during this time. i take it too personally and we start fighting over useless things... I keep a very grim face because of which no body likes to talk to me.. I dont smile at people whom i know even... I keep thinking, thinkgin and thinking... :(
    But all useless thoughts keep going on in my mind..

    I need to have this solved.. Please help ... Do any of you too face this kind of issues ?

    talk to your gynaec. these are sometimes mood swings.. and not sure of your age. if you have issues relating to ovaries/thyroid.. you can be treated for these.

    Along with this a little exercise, a lot of healthy positive thinking and healthy diet helps..

    some of us go through pms.

    mood swings happen which may make you feel low & depressed - all because harmonal changes in the body. As shanvy said, do show to your gynaec. At home you try to engage yourself in some hobby, listen to some good music, watch some comedy shows or comedy clippings from films, etc. Self motivation is very important. Your first cheer leader is 'you' :)

    Pms symptoms.

    During this time, order takeout food or prepare more the previous day if you are able to predict your date.

    Take lots of rest. Also take b complex and calcium tablets. They help a bit.

    First.... Don't be so hard on yourself. And you are not useless.

    As anithap said above it is a kind of menstrual syndrome associated with your menses. Just check from when the complaints arises and also other associated complaints with it. I would try to suggest you Homeopathic medicines.

    You consult some good homeopath and get a health check up done. Sometimes we are unaware of upcoming health problems and such things happens.. this is a sign of PMS as Anitap posted.. but you can't live with this forever so consult homeopath and a gynec too.

    Hello,

    its not about just washing away the feeling but about finding out what is triggering this effect in you. I am just thinking out loud. You are facing
    1> tiredness physically - so you are bound to feel restless & irritated or sad due to low energy
    2> inactive/bored/sad psychologically - brings down physical activity which makes u feel tired.
    3> as a result of point 1 & 2, you are now worried about the impact on others around you. - This further adds to your emotions.

    each of these points adding to the effect of each other. May be there are symptoms of PMS or not, but the best way to deal with it is take one thing at a time.
    1> Its important to let people around you know what your mood is - Simply tell them you don't want to talk for some time or want to have guests at home or attend to anything sensitive. You can give any reason you think will convince them if you think you can't say the truth.
    2> Pick up activities that you love to do the most. Something that brings smile on your face even with just a thought. Visit a friend or your parents place where you can be left alone or you can do what you like.
    3> Sleep a lot, even if you feel you dont need much. Just do it, it will restart your system.
    4> Last but not the least, chant the name of your fav deity or god till you are able to control your emotions.

    One of this will help you. Both Mind and body are connected. Once can't work with out the other & will have inter connected effect. Medicine is an option for physical ailments, wound etc.. but that should be your last resort since it only adds more junk to body. For longer and better effect indulge yourself in spiritual activities, it helps A LOT.
