Do not roast coconut, but mw in med and lo till it becomes dehydrated and crisp. Then it will last for 4-5 days

Dear Maami, I got two narthangai today from my neighbour who is a kannadiga, she said that we can make "kairasa" ie similar kind of kotsu in tamil. With raw mango, narthangai etc we can do this kairasa it seems. Can you tell me whether you have mentioned this kind of recipe in the Index, i searched with the terms "kotsu" and "kairasa" but i am unable to locate. Pls help.
