Life in Delhi!!

Can anyone elaborate about how is life in Delhi like? I mean is it like mad or fast or challenging or lively or fun.

Will love to get your inputs and experiences so that I can add those in my book on Indian States!

Put up some of your experiences which you felt were very different from day to day routine.

So lets see is Delhi the BIG APPLE city of India or not!:thumbsup

[FONT=&quot]Delhi is a historic city with long cherished historical values which can be seen in the remains of the past Mughal Rule in India. The crumbling structures and congested by lanes still exist in the walled city which is proudly accepted by Delhites as their much esteemed past. With the increase in population and continual influx of immigrants from other cities, Delhi is facing problems of traffic congestion, accommodation, electricity and water. Shopping too has changed a lot from the busy small markets to new shopping complexes and malls. Night Life in Delhi is another addition to the new lifestyle being embraced. Night clubs in the city open till late night and you can eat, drink along with enjoying dance on the floor. [/FONT]

some it is worst to live in delhi Seen Girls Sitting In Dark Parks In Delhi ,In Alone Streets
Same Delhi Girls,Girls In Delhi Cry If Something Happens And Need Seraparte Women Compartment In Delhi Metro

If Any Man Enters They Beat Him Humiliate Him

Dont Talking Of Any Single Girl College Going Delhi Girl Seen Even Married Delhi Women Driving Alone And Walking At Late Nights Alone In Roads

Hi,

Every City has both sides of the coin for people who live here....Though in Tourist destinations, rapes, harrassment etc are very less but since delhi is a metro with lasrge no. of population, so anything and everything happens here....
It's just a matter of how safe and secure you feel about your actions. This is for sure, that a person who is from a small town or city finds delhi to be very fast paced where no one is concerned about anyone......even if there is some crime happening before you, no one takes risk to interfere in it.....

More you get into bigger cities, I think more lonely you become.....
On the other side, Delhi has very good educational institutions and a large scope of jobs and areas of earning money and living.....you'll find n number of small scale industries here apart from MNCs and so you can head into the profession you like...

I am here from past 25 years, and its a pleasure to share my experience with all of you. I love everything in this city right from food to Delhi Metro. Green Delhi is what I call it and I do my bit of making it a clean city by keeping my surroundings clean. With the introduction of Metro in our city, it saves our time as well as money. I just look forward to see many more changes in this city

I was in delhi for 2.5 years and I must say it is a good place to live in, provided you know hindi..

People are caring and helpful. As far as i have seen, you can enjoy Delhi life.. Its just awesome

Hello Dear,

I am living at Delhi approx 3 years and i found here that Delhi is very fast & improving city.
When I was enterend in Delhi that time was making a metro plan.
Now a days there are very easy to go any where from Metro.
Now we have spend more time with our families.

I have lived in Delhi for quite some time. Delhi is the national capital. It is one of the biggest metros of the country. There are problems related to security of women in every major city of the country and there are similar problems in Delhi. Still considering the floating population and the influx of immigrants every day, by and large women in Delhi are safe. Now a days, even the Delhi Metro has a coach exculsively reserved for ladies.
Terrorism is a part of our life today. Like Mumbai, Delhi also seems to be a favourite target of terrorists. But Delhi has bounced back everytime.
Delhi Metro has played a big role in making life in Delhi easier and millions use it everyday.
