Weight Loss team - To shed weight permanently

    Hi ashu,

    Vow...... you've redcued from 65 to 60 kgs........brilliant. Your diet & exercise looks great, Iam glad that you are following it continuously. Floor exercise is very helpful for arms & belly. Just search for the hand exercise in our forums, I think long back sunkan mam has given very good tips about hand reduction. Belly, just simple sit-up's will do. I know it's very easy to say, but very very hard to follow. I am sure you can do it ashu.... come on. Let's all do it together.

    My update:

    Breakfast : 1 cup of kollu with water
    Lunch : small bowl of rice with pulse gravy
    Snack : 1 cup of tea
    ( I went to the temple/kovil and got ladoo as prasad...... so I have one......... very delicious)
    Dinner : 3 spoons of rice

    Exercise : 25 mins of brisk walking.

    Dear ladies
    I have a doubt, how much u can weigh more in the evening.
    one week i weighed my weight was 66.7 after one week exactly same time evening i got my weight done it was 71.8 but i did it after little dinner and half a liter of water. Certainly if u weigh in the evening it will be more but how much more
    Do clarify i got little upset
    PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP ME I GOT UPSET

    Hi gauri,

    It shouldn't be more than a kilo or two I guess. Why confusion, recheck your weight again the next day morning empty stomach (great invention by me Big LaughBig LaughBig Laugh).................... you will get the actual weight.

    ya i will do that
    actually throughout the day i almost drink 3.5-4 lts. of water and as i am on diet and weight watch i consume limited food.
    but yeah whenever i did my weight i actually had drank almost 1 lts. of water within that15 min. so thats the reason

    Hey girls,:hiya

    this is my yesterday's update. I did pretty well yesterday in the exercise part.

    B.F - 1 cup of Kollu charu (horse gram soup)
    Lunch - 2 cups of rice wit curd & veg
    Dinner - 1 grilled chicken sandwitch

    Exercise : 40 mins of fast walking
    20 mins of cycling

    Will do better today.............

    Hey all,

    I have been going thru this thread reg. but have not contributed so far. For the past 2 months i have been following a very strict diet along with 1 hr of excersie daily.
    Intially when i started i was weighing 150 pounds and my aim is to reach 135 pounds as of now. Though my ideal weight should be some where around 125 - 130 pounds , i am planning to take it slowly.

    I have been sucessful to a certain extent and i weigh 141 pounds right now, but still i need to loose 6 more pounds which looks like a big task for me.

    My daily diet intake is:-
    morning 2 cups of warm water followed by a cup of skim milk coffee with no sugar.
    B/f :- 1 small bowl of corn flakes with 1/2 cup of skim milk.

    Lunch :- 2 roti and any veg curry or dal plus salad.

    afternoon:- 1 cup of green tea with lemon.

    evening 1 cup skim milk coffee with 5 wheat thins.

    Dinner :- 1 small cup of rice or 2 roti.

    And throughout the day i try to drink 10 cups of water.
    and i hit the gym daily for an hr of walking,cycling and strength training session.I try to burn approx 250- 300 cals daily.

    But of late i have been not reducing weight and i can see fluctuations in my weight inspite of my strict diet and workout pattern . does anybody face this problem, i get tensed when i see weighing machine tilting towards right side inspite of so much hard work from my side.

    Ladies out there ...:help

    Hi gals,

    My yesterdays update.

    B.F - 2 bread slices with 1 cup of coffee , 1 small banana
    Lunch - 1 cup of rice with veggies
    Dinner - 2 roties with fish gravy

    Exercise - 35 mins of brisk walking in treadmill
    15 mins of cycling
    30 - toe touches & side crunches

    Iam doing fine so far, and trying my best to keep up the same work.

    Today's diet :

    breakfast : 4 idli + 1 coffee
    lunch : 1 cup rice with dal and curd
    snack : 1/4 cup of almonds
    dinner : 1 chapathi with curry and 1/2 cup rice with curd
    night : 1 orange

    ex ; 45 min treadmill

    Hi Aabhi,

    Can you tell me the difference between brown basmati rice and normal brown rice please?

    Hi Vaidehi,

    First of all I would like to appreciate your hard work and efforts that you are putting towards weight loss. Good job. You've been noticing results which is a positive sing, don't get panic for the current status. Though I don't have personal experience on your current condition I think you still need to wait little longer to see continued results. Your diet & exercise programmes looks perfect. I know how it feels to get no results with all your hard work.

    friends........ any one has come across vaidehi's situation. Please help.
