    Dear Pras,
My MIL used to make it.
Grind 1/4 cup each of raw rice & parboiled rice with 1/2 cup of grated coconut as stiff as possible. Add salt & little jeera.
Pat it on a cloth as thin as possible & deep fry. Try it & tell me. Then I will post it.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chithra,
    good morning.
I have 2 queries , one is - can I freeze puli inji (got good tender ones, so am asking)?
Two, how do you slice almonds etc., do you have a small slicer for that?

    Dear Varloo,
1` - Make & freeze puli inji in ziplock covers in freezer, but not just inji.
2 - I blanche & peel; the slice it lengthwise with a knife - no other method !
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Uma,

    Dear Chitra madam

I heard that normal venthayam (fenugreek) can be used to make kootu/ side-dish etc. Can you please post some recipe on that? Won't the venthayam make the dish bitter?

    Thanks in advance.

    Love
    Rathi
