    Hey,

I would like to know as to what really is herbal tea....is it the same as green tea?
I am a tea addict...I was thinking of shifting to herbal tea as I have heard a lot about it...

Plus are these teas really beneficial?

Can anyone help in this regard?

    Thanks a lot!

green tea is different yet can be called herbal and herbal teas are different

herbal teas are infusion of herbs..tulsi, thyme, chamomile, ginger and lemon,

nettle - beneficial if you have urinary infection, kidney problems..

chamomile - helps to sooth you..and also helps in indigestion

peppermint - for colds and cough

ginger - digestion and relieves bloat

    lavender - wheezing and insomnia.

rosemary - if you have liver problems

hibisucus - for reducing blood pressure, cholesterol

    rosehip- for immunity

thyme - for digestion and other stomach disorders and helps in immunity

    lemon grass- for digestive problems...

there are many other infusions too

lipton has some of these herbal teas..

apart from this you get fruit teas= apple, peach, pomegranate and other variants..

    Hey,

That is a lot of good information.

I and my husband are too addicted to tea....Though I have been facing a lot of problem related to acidity and indigestion but somehow if I do not have tea...seems my head starts paining......
Let me try these teas...hoping they will taste good and will help me control my addiction.

I wonder if I'll be able to get them from a local grocery guy....can you please let me know from where you buy these different herbal and fruit teas...?

    Thanks a lot!

It is relaxing and can be made from clean sprigs from your garden or made using dry herbs. Fresh herbs are full of natural vitamins and taste and can be expanded just about anywhere. Some illustrations of the health advantages of natural tea are, aid with digestion, antibacterial, energising and uplifting and relieve headaches.
